Principle of Piston Pressure Reducing Valve

To adjust the compression of the mainspring allows the valve core to move up and down. When the valve core moves in the middle position, the throttle area is changed and the outlet pressure is changed. When the throttle area decreases, the outlet pressure decreases to achieve the goal of adjustable pressure reduction. The valve core can be stabilized in a desired position by the combined action of the main spring and the auxiliary spring. If the pressure of the mainspring is minimized, the valve core is moved up to the highest point, at which point the valve is closed. Because the lower part of the disc is affected by both spring and outlet pressure, when the outlet pressure is decreased, the force on the lower part of the disc becomes smaller, the valve core moves downward under the action of the mainspring, the circulation area increases, and the outlet pressure increases. In contrast, when outlet pressure increases, the circulation area decreases

Installation and Commissioning of Piston Pressure Reducing Valve

The valve can be installed horizontally or vertically. When the user needs to adjust the outlet pressure, he/she can first unscrew the upper screw plug and adjust the screw. Adjust the adjusting screw clockwise to increase the valve outlet pressure. In contrast, the adjusting screw is adjusted counterclockwise and the valve outlet pressure decreases.
